Over 17 years ago we designed this saddle bag heat shield after a Dual Sport adventure on our Kawasaki KLR 650 into Death Valley with saddlebags fully maxed out, (tent, sleeping bags, mats, campchairs, stove, camera gear, food, sixteen changes of clothes, well - you get the picture). Clean design complements rather than detracts from the looks of your muffler.

First, we laser cut and form our MufflerGuard™ from 14 Gauge 304 Stainless steel. Then we apply a fine #4 brushed finish and insulate it with high temperature resistant aluminum backed fiberglass. Helps to protect saddlebags from becoming expensive trail hors d’oeurvres resulting from contact with a glowing muffler surface! Uses stock mounting hardware.
