Your '87-'02 Kawasaki KLR 650 REAR SPROCKET is bolted on with eight 8mm prevailing torque type nuts. These should not be re-used if removed.

Our Rear Sprocket Nut Upgrade Kit was put together to change out all eight of the rear sprocket mounting nuts to a reusable locking style, and make your garage and in-the-field repairs easier as you may use these nuts again and again.

These are the same special Fuji-Lock™ flange face nuts used in our Sub-Frame Upgrade Kit™ as well as our Locking Axle Nuts, Chain Adjuster Nut Kit and Motor Mount Nut Upgrade Kit.

The perfect time to use this kit is when installing a new rear sprocket.

This kit is for the 1987 - 2002 models only!
