Have you priced a new Kawasaki KLR 650 fan assembly? Good thing because the seat on your bike is still not soft enough to hit your head against when you hear the news! How about $340.49 - and the blade is not available separately! 

If you end up dropping the bike on the left side sometime, the radiator shroud may contact the fan frame which intern contacts the plastic fan blade (see lower photo). When the contact is made the blade stops and the motor usually does not, this can cause the blade to melt and either it stops entirely or does not run true and may intermittently contact the radiator and wear the motor out.
