About the Kawasaki KLR650

The Kawasaki KLR650`A’ model first produced in 1987, was designed to meet the needs of riders looking for a lightweight, dirt-worthy, yet touring capable single cylinder four stroke motorcycle. A ‘C’ model was later introduced and eventually distributed everywhere except the United States.

About Availability

Manufacturing changes, availability of raw materials and design difficulties stemming from wide tolerances between the older Japanese and more recent Thailand models have delayed production longer than anticipated.

Generation Four KLR650 Center Stands already reserved by customers will commence shipping on July 21, 2006 in the order in which the reservations were placed. Due to the significant volume of orders to be processed, US customers should allow up to two weeks for delivery.  Customers outside the US should allow up to four weeks for product to clear customs.

About Pricing

Despite the significant increases in the cost of labor, materials and manufacturing, Dual Star International has pledged to hold the price at the same level as previous models as long as possible.
